Design Operations Graphic Manager

The Design Operations Graphic Manager will work with cross functional partners to oversee the execution of workflow between design/graphics teams and production across all brands and ensure proper product execution from both domestic and overseas factories.

Key Accountabilities:

·         Manage and prioritize graphic workflow and status across all brands

·         Standardize processes utilizing best practices across all brands

·         Drive deadlines to ensure milestones are met in adherence to the calendar

·         Coordinate milestone meetings with Design on all seasonal specification and development requests to ensure changes and updates are executed throughout the season

·         Work closely with Design Ops partners to guarantee communication is accurate and timely

·         Train the company’s graphics design/design ops staff to separate art and prepare files to be print ready

·         Attend trade shows and research the latest in screen print technology and equipment to find new cost effective and production friendly techniques to further our business

·         Ensure sourcing is kept up to date on new seasonal developments that are in the line and that all techniques/standards are passed off to them and production facilities

·         Proactively troubleshoot and resolve sourcing and production issues by partnering with both graphics and sourcing/production/PA to ensure brand aesthetic and design’s intent is met

·         Partner with PA on a regular basis for approvals

·         Manage all domestic submittal comments and approvals

·         Check/Separate key art pages with elevated issues and to ensure consistency across all brands

·         Travel overseas to our sampling and production facilities to work on improving their printing and manage on sight R&D

·         Provide direction for LMS submissions

·         Special projects as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, or related Fine Arts Degree

·         5+ years of experience in the fashion industry (significant relevant experience in category)

·         Ability to travel as needed

·         Ability to lead and develop a team of Design Operation Graphic Assistant/Associate(s)

·         Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with attention to detail

·         Must be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative

·         Brand appropriate aesthetic

·         Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
