Assistant Design Coordinator

Overview:

The Assistant Design Coordinator will assist with presentation initiatives for the Design and Sales teams.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain project organization by fielding requests from sales, assigning design request numbers, and updating and/or removing styles when necessary
  • Prepare line sheets for design meetings and presentations
  • Establish a strong understanding of available presentation tools and apply effective approaches to assist the sales team in presenting products to retailers
  • Create planograms and floor displays after retail assortments have been finalized
  • Assist with special makeups and requests from the sales team and communicate effectively with the design team to ensure approval and catalog updates
  • Execute special signage requests and showroom needs
  • Support the product design process through customized presentations (i.e. directive assortments) and effective communication to sales
  • Special projects as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

  • Associate’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
